Day 01: Cusco City Arrival

At your arrival to Cusco’s airport our company’s representative will assistance to you to transfer to the selected hotel and to get a clear picture of the itinerary operation. Transportation  to the selected hotel, after to get the accommodation in the hotel we start the city tour beginning at the temple of Santo Domingo (Qoricancha). Afterwards we will drive over nearest archeological sites such as Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay where you are going to get a short walking around each place.

Day 02: Cusco – Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes Town

visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas where is located the amazing typical town of Chinchero where the families are still keeping the traditional way and mores of weaving and local weavers will be willing to teach you the traditional mores, skills and the system of textiles industry then a walking at around the archeological site where there is a good view of the terraces and cultivation fields. Later, we will get the archeological site of Moray; they are circular terraces shape and have peculiar stairs among terraces. The purpose and function of those terraces served as an agricultural laboratory used by the Incas then we continue driving down to the salt evaporation ponds, located in Maras’s town, salt has been obtained since pre Incas time till now a day it is obtained by evaporating salty water from a local subterranean stream. The highly salty water emerges at a spring, a natural outlet of the underground stream. The flow is directed into an intricate system of tiny channels constructed so that the water runs gradually down onto the several hundred ancient terraced ponds.

Afterward, we will arrive to Urubamba town to have lunch (we recommend buffet restaurant where you can enjoy a mixture of Peruvian dishes plus vegetarian options).

Afterwards, we will get Ollantaytambo town, where we take a walking at around the archeological sites which consist of terraces for agricultural purposes, temples, storages and palaces plus the plaza. Later we will take the train to Aguas Calientes town where we spend the night.

Day 03: Aguas Calientes Town – Machupicchu – Cusco

From here you will board the shuttle buses up to the Machu Picchu historical sanctuary, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Visit of Machupicchu the best known archaeological site on the continent and the well preserved where you can observe the magnificent technique and finest style of Incas architecture. It is high 7,973 ft. above sea level and combined with adjoining forest and Wilderness Park, the “historical sanctuary”, as Unesco describes it, covers more than 116 square miles. It’s composed of temples, terraced hills, storages and plaza the city was built under Pachacutec and Tupac Yupanqui kingdom.

You will have some free time to explore the site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. At the agreed-upon time, you will return to Aguas Calientes town to take the train back for around two hours till Ollantaytambo or 3hours 30 minutes to Poroy Station, where you will be you will be picked up and transported to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 04: Cusco – Around the city

Today will be reasonable to have free Day in Cusco to know and enjoy the City and its surroundings such as main square, wide Incas streets, museums, churches, traditional markets plus some places for shopping to get souvenirs.

Day 05: Cusco – Puno (by train)

Transport to the train station to take the train ride to Puno city, the train route is the most beautiful in the world it offers magnificent landscapes along its riding of course the service is organized by open-air observatory car, which allows to you a panoramic view all the time. At your arrival to Puno you will be transported to the hotel.

Day 06: Puno – Uros and Amantani Island

Early in the morning transfer from your hotel to the bank of Titicaca Lake for quietly navigate to Uros floating Islands Where we Find out how the Uros inhabitants make their home islands entirely from one of the lake reeds, Totora, and how they develop a lifestyle in the middle of Titicaca Lake also you can enjoy a ride on traditional reed boats. Afterward we continue the journey by boat to Amantani Island. At the arrival you will meet the local people getting the chance participate of their local activities. Lunch and dinner will be provided on the island. Lodge is in a family house.

Day 07: Amantani Island – Taquile Island – Puno

The day begins early with a breakfast served by the family where you lodge, time to leave and say good bye!!!. The next island to visit is Taquile where you can get a short walking Afterward we board the boat return to Puno and transferred to the hotel.

Day 08: Puno – Cusco

Early departure driving along the High Plateau where we can enjoy different places such as the lithic ruins of Pukara culture developed between the years 1600 B.C. and 400 A.D., afterward our driving will take us to La Raya pass which is road limit between Cusco and Puno, where Chimboya Glacier provide the visitor an amazing view furthermore an small active volcano is located in the area.  After lunch we continue our driving till to get the archeological site of Raqchi also known as the Temple of WIRACOCHA, (supreme deity in the Inca civilization).a magnificent stone and mud bricks constructions of Incas culture.  Then we have a visit of Andahuaylillas church also known as The Sistine Chapel of America built during the 17th century magnificent colonial building with paintings and murals, of school art of Cusco plus the ornaments in gold leaf. Afterward our driving will take us into the Cusco city where you will be transported to your hotel.

DAY 09: Cusco – Lima Airport

Transfer to Cusco Airport to take your flight to Lima.
